
Dr. Tim Howarth, DMD, MSD
Dr. Howarth, was born and raised in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He graduated from Ridge High School and received his B.S. in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan. Dr. Howarth then attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he commissioned into the United States Navy during which time he practiced dentistry in South Carolina, Japan, Korea, and California. Following his six years of active duty, Dr. Howarth completed another 2.5 years of education to receive his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science degree in Dentistry from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He practiced orthodontics in the San Diego area for approximately 1.5 years before relocating to Atlanta to be closer to family.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Howarth is a member of many professional organization including:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
- California Dental Association
- Diplomate, American Board of Orthodontics
Additionally, Dr. Howarth continues to be involved with the Navy Reserve.
Dr. Howarth is passionate about his profession and feels fortunate to be able to positively impact the lives (and smiles) of others, either by laying a foundation for a child’s development or by providing comprehensive treatment for teens and adults.
